We had a layover in Minneapolis–Saint Paul. During the flight the woman seated behind me passed a very nice note... and we exchanged a couple notes, and contact info. The first note read:
Bless you for your kind words and recognition of me when I first got on the plane.
Bless you for comforting the man next to you by rubbing his arm.
Bless you for taking pictures of the clouds and appreciate and creation.
Bless you for being a soft and gentle soul.
What may I ask is the catalyst for your goodness and giving ways?
I thank you for your example.
I'm still very touched by this note, rereading it.
She and her husband (a State Senator) were traveling from North Dakota to a special LDS Conference. The stresses of travel, especially with the weather delays AND I'm sure the issues around TSA working during the government shutdown,... had been wearing on them. I guess I said the right thing, at the right time...and that makes me very happy. She is a beautiful lady and I hope our paths cross again!
